About the Journal

BMGN – Low Countries Historical Review is the leading academic journal for the history of the Netherlands, Belgium and their global presence. The journal publishes research about broad and important issues in the history of the Low Countries and seeks to do so in a wider comparative and international context. BMGN – Low Countries Historical Review aims to present the best historical scholarship of both junior and senior scholars. The journal accommodates all historical subdisciplines, covers the history of the Low Countries since the Middle Ages, and accepts contributions in Dutch and English.

Lees hier: Special Collection - Empirisch onderzoek naar de lange Tweede Wereldoorlog

2024-12-17

Op 2 januari 2025 zou het Nederlandse Centraal Archief Bijzondere Rechtspleging (CABR) een openbaar en online beschikbaar archief worden. Dit is zoals bekend uitgesteld, maar de openstelling van het CABR-archief blijft de aanleiding voor de samenstelling van een nieuwe BMGN-special collection 'Empirisch onderzoek naar de lange Tweede Wereldoorlog'. De collectie bevat een selectie van sinds 1970 verschenen BMGN-artikelen die empirisch onderzoek naar de Tweede Wereldoorlog behelsden en die toentertijd op nieuw ontsloten bronnenmateriaal waren gebaseerd.
